What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can serve the same purpose for remembering settings or keeping you signed in.
They help the site function securely, remember choices you make, and, where permitted, understand how pages are used.
How we use cookies
We keep cookie use minimal and proportionate. The categories below describe what you may encounter on katror.com.
- Essential: required for core functionality, including signing in to your client workspace and keeping your session secure. These cannot be switched off while using authenticated areas.
- Preference: remember choices such as whether you accepted this cookie notice. Consent is stored locally and in a first-party cookie so the banner does not reappear on every visit.
- Analytics: we do not currently use third-party analytics cookies on the marketing site. If that changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
First-party cookies we set
Katror sets a small number of first-party cookies directly. Third-party embeds are avoided on the public marketing site where possible.
- katror_session, keeps you signed in to the client workspace (essential, session or persistent depending on your sign-in choice)
- katror_cookie_consent, records that you accepted the cookie notice (preference, up to one year)
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and workspace features from working correctly.
To withdraw consent for non-essential cookies, clear site data for katror.com in your browser. The cookie banner will appear again on your next visit so you can make a fresh choice.
Updates
We may revise this policy when our site, tooling, or legal obligations change. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised last-updated date.
Continued use of the site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, except where additional consent is required by law.
